We are looking for a Super Star Server Room Relocation Supervisor! This part time, project-based role, will put you in front of companies all over the Bay Area.

You will be responsible for arranging the disconnect and reconnect of all clients' server rooms. It will be your job to manage your team and ensure that all business objectives are met while exceeding Clients expectations.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Meet with Client to review details of upcoming Relocation Projects
• Supervise team of 10 or more Relocation Technicians
• On-site Murphy McKay liaison between Client and Murphy McKay Operations Manager
• Document and report any issues with Client and Team
• Overseeing the disconnect and reconnect of server rooms
• Rack & Stack - un mounting and mounting hardware such as servers, server chassis, network equipment and cabling accessories into server racks data center cabinets.
• De-Installing and Installing copper and fiber optic data cabling for a variety of devices within the racks and server room / datacenter
• Complete physical audit of equipment and accessories
• Usage of electrical power drills
• Equipment staging
• Equipment inventory and data entry
• Trace and document existing cabling.
• Strong cable management skills
• Ensure you have all materials for Projects
• Follow all Murphy McKay policies and procedures

QUALIFICATIONS

• At least 1 year or more previous experience in managing a team of 10 people or more
• Must be flexible between hours and days, not all projects are same days / hours
• Able to travel throughout Bay Area (SF, San Jose, Santa Clara, Peninsula Travel reimbursement)
• Must have own vehicle with Valid Drivers License and Vehicle Registration / Insurance
• Working evenings and weekends a must
• Excellent customer service / communication skills
• Excellent team building skills
• Ability to work independently without supervision
• Organized, able to prioritize
• Experience and ability to layout Server Room configurations for clients
• Have knowledge of electrical (preferable, but not required.)
• Ability to perform server room prep / labeling
• Ability to perform server room patching / cabling
