Adaptive Solutions Group is a premier provider of information technology personnel. We provide a variety of technical professionals available for contract, contract to hire, or direct placement positions to companies in and around the Kansas City and St. Louis areas.

We are currently looking for a Project Manager to join our team.

Responsibilities

  • Review construction plans and specifications to create custom door and hardware submittal packages for commercial construction projects.
  • This entails a current and thorough knowledge of door and hardware product applications in addition to current knowledge of commercial building codes and requirements.
  • Comprehensive management of assigned projects including take-offs, detailing, submittal creation, cost management, material sourcing, daily monitoring, and timeline oversight.
  • Proactively communicate with customers and key internal departments to ensure all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Research and determine solutions to problems regarding incorrect materials, warranty work, shortages, timeline limitations, installation errors and more.
  • Manage contract obligations for assigned projects including requested reporting and billing oversight.
  • Collaborate with contractors, engineers, architects, and key members of the project team.
  • Develop procedures for the management of projects and determine more efficient methods of operation to decrease costs and increase profitability.
  • Assess performance metrics at the completion of a project to identify areas for improvement and elements that worked well for future projects.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent as a minimum – bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 2-5 years of project management experience in the commercial construction industry
  • Experience in Division 8 required (Doors, frames and hardware)
  • Proficient computer skills required.
