As the Head Restoration Technician, you will be responsible for overseeing projects involving property restoration from fire, water, and smoke damage, as well as providing non-disaster-related specialty cleaning services.

This role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work in a variety of environments.

ServiceMaster by Complete is the "Best call to make in the worst situation."Responsibilities include but are not limited to : -Lead and manage a team of technicians providing restoration and cleaning services to residential, commercial, and institutional clients.

• Coordinate daily tasks and projects, beginning at the corporate office in Staten Island, NY, and traveling to various job sites.
• Perform a variety of physical tasks, including wall washing, floor cleaning, kitchen and bathroom cleaning, and specialty sanitizing and deodorizing services.
• Utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) and professional equipment to ensure safety and quality of work.-Communicate effectively with customers, team members, and management, ensuring clarity and understanding of tasks.
• Participate in a rotating on-call schedule to respond to emergency restoration services after hours.-Train and mentor team members, providing guidance on best practices and work processes.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and in compliance with safety and quality standards.-Use company-supplied vehicles to travel to job sites, following safety and operational protocols.

The ideal candidate should possess : -Must pass a drug screen and criminal background check.-Valid and insurable New York driver's license.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience leading and supervising teams in cleaning or restoration services.-Experience in fire or water damage restoration preferred.
• Ability to work independently and hold team members accountable for their work.-Physically capable of standing, walking, stooping, bending, and carrying up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to participate in an on-call program, providing emergency services as needed.-Ability to follow detailed work processes with strong attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and ability to navigate basic smartphone apps.-Must demonstrate excellent attendance and a strong work ethic.

Preferred Skills and Certifications : -Current IICRC certifications (Required).-Strong desire for career growth and learning within the restoration industry.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions : -This role requires constant physical activity, including moving, lifting, and carrying heavy loads.

• Work conditions may vary depending on the job, with potential exposure to temperature fluctuations, odors, and varying levels of cleanliness.
• Ability to use ladders, step stools, and other equipment as needed, working at heights of up to 12 feet.-Ability to work indoors primarily, but outdoor tasks may be required occasionally.
