Senior Product ManagerThe Platform & Delivery Product team collaborates with teams throughout the company to build and expand the foundations of Fastly’s global edge cloud services, ensuring they are positioned to scale rapidly in both capacity and capabilities.

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager who is passionate about shepherding innovation on its path to production reality, enabling customer success, and telling the stories of both of these journeys to internal and external audiences.

This role will provide the opportunity to work closely with business and technical partners company wide, providing product management for a large variety of Fastly products, features and technologies which constitute the platform upon which both Fastly and our customers can build their edge cloud solutions of today and tomorrow.

What You'll DoIdentify, analyze, quantify and prioritize opportunities for new markets, product features, technologies and innovations in how Fastly’s edge cloud services are built and deliveredManage the end-to-end product lifecycle of your products, initiatives and technologies including the development and conveyance of the products’ vision through product roadmapsCollaboratively lead cross-functional and distributed teams by building trusted working relationships throughout the company, at all levels of the organizationsBe the subject matter specialist and evangelist for your product / technologies, internally and externallyBe the champion for our customers’ interests internally, making and influencing decisions about product features, priorities, functionality, and user experiences with the goal of increasing customer value always at the centerCollaborate with our product growth analysts & finance to develop and implement pricing, packaging & growth strategiesDefine and monitor product success metrics using data driven goalsWhat We're Looking ForA self-starter with a natural affinity for the details of complicated systems while remaining focused on the larger vision, great interpersonal and communication skills and a passion for learning, doing, contributing and growing with the Product team and the company.

5+ years of experience in cloud services and / or related technologies and businesses5+ years product management experience in a software development focused fieldExceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to learn and use the terminology understood by audiences as diverse as executives, finance, legal, and engineering developersAbility to think tactically and strategically to craft a compelling product vision that both meets customer demand and aligns with company initiativesPossess the empathy and interpersonal skills to develop an understanding of the needs of, and communicate effectively with, a large variety of partner teams to secure buy-in for new initiativesComfortable with developing multiple pricing and business models including usage based, subscription, and transactional modelsA positive, get-stuff-done, collaborative spirit that thrives in a fast paced environmentWe value a variety of voices, so this is not a laundry list.

You’ll be a good candidate if you have experience in SOME of these : Familiarity with the technical and business aspects of building and operating a worldwide network of high availability and high capacity data centersKnowledge of Internet technologies, standards and protocols such as, but not limited to, IPv4 / v6, TCP / UDP, TLS, HTTP, DNS, and BGPExperience with a variety of web applications, services and related technologies such as content delivery networks, APIs, cloud services and DevOps would be a plusWork Hours : This position will require you to be available during core business hours.

Work Location(s) & Travel Requirements : This position is open to the following preferred office locations : San Francisco, CADenver, CONew York City, NYFastly currently embraces a largely hybrid model for most roles which allows employees flexibility to split their time between the office and home.

Salary : The estimated salary range for this position is $151,020 to $209,740.Starting salary may vary based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, and location.

This role may be eligible to participate in Fastly’s equity and discretionary bonus programs.Benefits : We care about you.
