JTG is seeking Cleared Linguists with TS / SCI and CI Poly
Languages : Uzbek with Pashto, Russian, or Tajik language skills
Location : Washington DC; Salt Lake City, UT; or possibly other locations in the United States
Timeline : Full-time, long-term
Responsibilities :
- Translate and interpret between source and target languages.
- Apply familiarity with military, scientific, IT, legal, and socio-economic fields and / or socio-economic matters / events.
- Conduct cultural, linguistic, and contextual analysis of translated materials.
- Perform quality reviews.
Basic Qualifications :
- Tested proficiency in English and the foreign language
- TS / SCI clearance and CI Poly
- Proven experience in language services, linguistics, or language-enabled analysis
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Preferred Qualifications :
- Proficiency in the foreign language at ILR 3 or higher
- Proficiency in more than two of the listed languages
Education : Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred.
