Clinical Nurse II- Post-Surgical Short Stay
Job Description
- Implement physician orders, administer medications, start IVs, perform treatments, procedures and tests, and document treatment as required
- Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests
- Assess and evaluate patient needs and responses to care
- Provide primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses
- Collaborate with the nursing team to create a Plan of Care for all patients
- Direct and guide ancillary personnel
Minimum Qualifications
- Graduate of a professional nursing program
- Current Registered Nurse license
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- 1-3 years of previous clinical RN experience
- Excellent communication, prioritization, organizational and time-management skills
