Enhabit Home Health & Hospice is dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality home health and hospice care. We are seeking a Vice President of Compensation & Total Rewards to lead our compensation programs and ensure alignment with our organizational goals.
The Vice President of Compensation will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing comprehensive compensation strategies across all levels of the organization, including executive compensation programs.
This role requires a seasoned leader with a deep understanding of executive compensation practices, market trends, and regulatory requirements.
You will play a critical role in presenting to the board of directors and compensation committee, providing expert guidance and strategic recommendations, and will work closely with senior leadership to design competitive compensation packages that attract, retain, and motivate top talent.

Responsibilities
- Develop and manage executive compensation programs, including base salary, bonuses, equity, and other incentives, ensuring alignment with company goals and market competitiveness.
- Prepare and present executive compensation plans and analyses to the board of directors and compensation committees, articulating complex information clearly and effectively.
- Develop and execute a company-wide compensation strategy that aligns with business objectives and supports talent management goals.
- Conduct ongoing analysis of compensation trends, salary benchmarks, and market competitiveness to ensure our compensation offerings remain attractive and equitable.
- Quickly establish strong relationships with senior leadership and executives, leveraging these connections to influence and implement meaningful change in compensation practices.
- Ensure all compensation programs comply with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company policies.
- Lead and mentor a high-performing total rewards department, including employee benefits team and leave of absence team.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field; Master’s degree or relevant certification (e.
g., CCP or CECP) preferred.
- 8+ years of progressive experience in compensation, with at least 5 years in executive compensation.
- Proven experience managing compensation programs within a large, multi-state public company.
- Extensive knowledge of executive compensation, broad-based compensation, and incentive programs.
- Proven experience presenting to boards of directors and compensation committees.
- Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to quickly establish trust and drive meaningful change.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data to make informed decisions.
- Proven ability to influence and collaborate with senior executives and cross-functional teams.
- Experience with compensation software and HRIS systems.
