WE ARE SEEKING AN OUTSTANDING PROFESSIONAL WHO IS PASSIONATE ABOUT REPORTING AND PROCUREMENT LOGISTICS. THIS INDIVIDUAL IS DETAILED ORIENTED AND HAS METHODICAL ORGANIZATION TO SUPPORT OUR TEAM AS THE PROCUREMENT LEAD.
THE PROCUREMENT LEAD WILL BE FOCUSED ON WORK WITH OUR RESIDENTIAL STUDIO BRAND FOR THE PROCESSING OF CUSTOM FURNISHINGS PACKAGES .
THIS AN ACCOUNTING AND ORDER PROCESSING POSITION THAT WORKS CLOSELY WITH THE DESIGN TEAM AND REPORTS DIRECTLY TO THE DIRECTOR OF INTERIOR DESIGN.
THIS ROLE WILL PLAY A CRITICAL PART IN THE SUCCESS OF OUR FURNITURE, ART, AND ACCESSORY ORDERS AS WELL AS MOVE-IN LOGISTICS FOR ESTABLISHED CLIENTS.
The responsibilities for the Procurement Lead position include, but are not limited to, the following :
ORDER + LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT
- Support, create and manage itemized budgets for furnishings packages alongside design team
- Confirm order needs with design team and perform data entry to ensure accurate furniture specifications for the creation of effective purchase orders
- Create, manage and track highly detailed and custom product procurement proposals
- Create, manage and track all purchase orders through installation
- Manage all payment applications, associated accounting and detailed bookkeeping
- Maintain and communicate all procurement reporting and timelines to Director and Project Lead(s) on a weekly and monthly basis
- Create and maintain new trade accounts and support Manufacturer / Vendor relations based on design team needs and strategies
- Coordinate move-in logistics for clients and design team alongside third party installation crews
INVOICE MANAGEMENT
- Support and prepare all client invoices and related correspondence
- Manage all payment applications
- Manage AR and AP alongside Director, Partners and Financial Consultant
- Invoice and accounting reporting to Director, Partners and Financial Consultant
JOB REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
- Advanced understanding of accounting principles and practices specific to the resale of furniture or other similar process.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience with QuickBooks, or equivalent.
- Experience with DesignSpec software experience a plus.
- Interior Design experience with a focus on the resale of furniture a plus.
- Must be highly organized and detail oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
- Must be proficient with MS Office, to include Outlook, Excel and Word.
- Self-motivated with strong time management skills and adaptable to changing demands.
- Professional and mature communication style and the ability to interact with team at all levels.
- Maintain confidentiality and display discretion on the job.
- Provide exemplary Vendor service and relationship management skills.
- Possess current NC driver's license.
