As a Medical Assistant - Temporary, here’s a big-picture view of what you’ll do :
- Review patient files for completeness to ensure compliance
- Review HR files for completeness to ensure compliance
- Assist with Quality Assurance Performance Improvement (QAPI) projects
- Ensure programs, such as infection control, are operated properly
A few must-haves for Medical Assistant :
- Completion of Medical Assistant program
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare or a related industry
- Understanding of state and federal home care standards and regulations
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with clinical and non-clinical staff
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and computer software proficiency
