- 15+ years of total experience and 5+ years of experience in project management
- Experience with Scrum / Agile methodologies
- Work with Product Owners and program leadership to help shape the product vision and high-level priorities
- Work with customer stakeholders to clarify requirements and priorities
- Provide status and be the primary point of contact on the program for the customer
Roles and Responsibilities
- Refine, manage, and prioritize program backlog
- Collaborate with multiple teams to develop and define acceptance criteria
- Be available to answer team questions and provide guidance
- Anticipate customer and stakeholder needs
- Help manage team and program roadmaps
- Facilitate the coordination and integration of multiple engineering teams
- Define, document, and track the completion of Epics, Features, and Bugs
- Communicate with other product owners, scrum masters, program leadership, customers, and development teams to report on status, blockers, etc.
- Participate in agile meetings such as daily scrum, retrospectives, and planning
Desirable Technical / Functional Skills
- Hands-on experience with Java, AWS Cloud, Microservices, Kafka
- Operations and Integration
- Analytical ability
- Communications (listening, persuasiveness, oral, written)
- Leadership (impact, involvement, change management)
- At least 6 years full systems life cycle experience including requirements gathering, functional and technical design, requirements specifications, detail design, program specifications, coding, and unit / system testing
- Strong technical knowledge within specialty
