K-12 Special Education Teacher Job in Springfield, PA
VocoVision is currently accepting applications for a remote Special Education Teacher position for this ongoing 2023-24 school year in the Springfield, PAarea.
This position will treat you as your own independent contractor, meaning youll have the opportunity to schedule your hours all from the comfort of your home.
For further consideration, we require all contractors to have a minimum of two years of previous school experience within the past five years.
Position Details
- 1099 independent contracting structure
- 50-65 student K-12 caseload with mild-moderate symptoms
- Full-time expected hours (see below for more details)
- We work with a Zoom Plus application (HIPAA / FERPA compliant)
- We have multiple needs across different districts with different caseloads
School Hours : 8 : 00 to 3 : 30 PM local time
- 37.5 total direct / indirect hours per week
- You can complete any indirect hours at your own time.
Requirements
- Hold a Masters Degree in Special Education.
- Possess an Pennsylvania state license for Special Education.
- Maintain professional liability insurance coverage as an independent contractor.
Responsibilities
- Conduct virtual classroom sessions for mild to moderate students.
- Collaborate with an onsite facilitator to accommodate for specific IEP needs.
- Manage and develop Individualized Educational Plans (IEPs) for each student.
- Participate in virtual IEP meetings with family and faculty members.
