About the Role
As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of prescription orders to patients.
Your responsibilities will include :
Interpreting and entering prescription information in compliance with state regulations
Using various computer systems to process prescriptions, compare orders, and generate labels.
Packaging and delivering medications following standard procedures to ensure safe and secure delivery
Conducting quality assurance checks, reaching out to prescribers and patients when needed, and resolving third-party rejections
Preparing manual prescription orders by verifying information, pulling the required medications from inventory, and completing necessary scanning and packaging
Requirements
You have a High School Diploma / GED and you have 1+ years of prior experience in counting / packing medications and prior authorizations
You are a certified pharmacy technician within the state of employment
You are familiar with general pharmacy terminology (SIG codes, brand, and generic names of medications)
You are proficient with a computer and Windows PC applications and are able to navigate and learn new and complex computer system applications
You are available to work within operating hours : Atlanta Pharmacy Hours : 9AM - 6PM ET, Sat & Sun : 11AM - 3PM ET
