Citrus Counseling Services (CCS) is a registered non-profit organization that has been providing comprehensive mental health services to our community since 1978.
We have specialized programs for young children, at-risk youth, and victims of crime. In addition to our specialized programs, we offer individual, couples, and family counseling.

What We Are Looking For :
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our Early Childhood Services team! The ideal candidate will have experience providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions to support the emotional and psychological well-being of young children ranging from 0-8 years old.
What You'll Do :
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for children aged 0-8, addressing emotional, behavioral, and developmental challenges.
- Provide one-on-one therapy sessions, utilizing play therapy, cognitive-behavioral techniques, and other child-centered approaches.
- Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to create a support system for each child.
- Monitor and document progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on ongoing evaluations.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with the agency and / or program policies and regulatory standards.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of community resources and programs for early childhood mental health.
- Consistently meet individualized clinical service hour goals.
- Perform administrative, development, and other organizational tasks as assigned.
- Commit and contribute to the agency’s Mission, Vision, and Goals.
- Maintain professional licensure and / or certification throughout employment.
Qualifications :
- Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor.
- Registered and in good standing with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences.
- Insurable for Professional and General Liability insurance.
- Demonstrated experience working with young children and families in a therapeutic setting.
- Ability to assess crisis situations and intervene appropriately.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and maintain a high level of professionalism.
