At GCI, we solve the hard problems. As a Project Systems Engineer / Project Integrator, a typical day will include the following duties :
- Act as a Project Systems Engineer / Project Integrator responsible for ensuring customer strategic and tactical requirements are met to support the mission.
- Manage, advise, and assist in all aspects of daily business operations, ensuring the group is positioned to effectively support mission requirements.
- Support a wide breadth of activities including drafting and coordinating briefings, facilitating meetings documenting and tracking customer requirements, and other duties as assigned.
- Assist in identifying and tracking action items, tracking, and monitoring of ongoing projects, requirements, and initiatives, coordination of schedule(s), and capturing of meeting minutes.
- Work cross-functionally and communicate with all parties in support of mission requirements.
- Communicate status to stakeholders and participants.
- Draft and edit official communications in support of customer.
- Participate in meetings and provide requisite support as needed.
- Support special projects as required.
- Analyzes user needs to determine functional requirements for a wide variety of projects and highlights areas of improvement.
- Researches, identifies, and recommends resources required for task execution and completion.
- Generates recommendations in the form of briefings, reports, and other major documents provided to senior level client personnel.
