PRN Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Currently seeking a compassionate PRN LPN for bowel treatments in Honolulu and nearby cities!

BrightStar Care of Honolulu is looking for a PRN LPN to work in a home health setting. The ideal candidate should have a current and active LPN license in the state of Hawaii and at least one year of LPN experience.

Base Rate : $25 per hour

Case Rate : $25 - $45 per hour

Transportation Requirements

Valid Driver’s License and your own reliable transportation

Responsibilities :

• Implement treatment and plan of care, using sound judgment and critical thinking
• Maintain accurate, detailed, and timely documentation consistent with the plan of care and the nursing processes
• Perform all skill, treatments, and procedures to the scope of practice as defined in the Nurse Practice Act in the state of clinical practice and adhere to the policies, procedures, and protocols of the agency of employment
• Provide professional nursing care for the safety and well-being of our clients

Requirements :

• Current unrestricted LPN license in state for which care is being provided
• Certified BLS and negative TB skin test or chest x-ray
• Must be able to stand walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push, and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the mobility of the client.

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
