Corporate Talent Resources LLC is seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Nurse to serve as the Director of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at our client's prestigious healthcare facility.

In this influential leadership position, you will provide strategic oversight and direction for the NICU, ensuring that the highest standards of care are delivered to critically ill newborns.

Your role will encompass clinical leadership, staff management, quality improvement, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.

You will be responsible for fostering a culture of excellence, safety, and teamwork within the unit, while also mentoring and guiding nursing staff in their professional development.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all operational aspects of the NICU, ensuring compliance with clinical protocols and regulatory standards.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures that promote quality care and patient safety in the NICU.
  • Collaborate with neonatologists and healthcare teams to create comprehensive care plans for patients.
  • Recruit, train, and evaluate nursing staff, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Monitor key performance indicators and implement quality assurance initiatives to improve patient outcomes.
  • Foster effective communication and working relationships among all team members and departments.

Requirements

Must-Have Requirements to be Considered :

  • Minimum of 5 years in an acute hospital setting as a Registered Nurse in the NICU
  • Minimum of 2 years as a current Director in the NICU
  • Bachelor’s Degree of Nursing
  • Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) of practice and / or has an active compact license, by law and regulation.
  • BLS and ACLS
  • L&D : NRP preferred / FHM preferred / RNC-OB preferred
