The team is currently seeking a collaborative team player to be their next Senior Catering and Events Manager. This position is responsible for servicing Association and Corporate groups, as well as upselling.
What will I be doing?
As Senior Catering & Events Manager, you are responsible for servicing groups and upselling. Your essential functions will include :
- Creative design of menus and events to maximize revenue and event experience.
- Maintain existing relationships with corporate and Association Groups.
- Event documentation and coordination with Sales, hotel departments, and customers to ensure consistent, high-level service throughout the pre-event, event, and post-event phases of all hotel events.
- Handle complex events and ensure seamless turnover from sales to service back to sales.
- Recognize opportunities to maximize revenue by upselling and offering enhancements.
- Serve as the event planner's primary contact following turnover on property and be responsible for the client experience.
Specifically, your essential functions will be to perform the following tasks to the highest standards :
- Organize, plan and prioritize duties by developing plans and goals.
- Timely communication to internal and external clients via telephone, email, written documents, or in person.
- Create and maintain relationships with clients to set and meet expectations.
- Demonstrate knowledge of job systems, products, and processes.
- Resolve conflicts and negotiate while handling complaints.
- Sell and influence both internal and external clients.
- Make decisions and solve problems by analyzing issues and determining the best solution.
- Ensure high-quality service by assisting others to understand guest needs.
- Participate in customer site inspections and assist with the sales process as necessary.
- Other duties as necessary based on business needs.

The Salary Range for this position is $75,000 - $85,000 and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location. LI-CU1
