- Travel / Contract
- RTO after booking is not allowed and is not allowed to be worked out on site. Any call offs or additional RTO on unit, could possibly turn into a cancel and DNR.
- Ratios : 1 : 6 flex based on needs in organization
- Shift : 12hr NIGHTS
- 48 hours ONLY no OT billed until after 48
- Unit will accept contracts from 13 weeks+ up to March 15, 2025 (hard stop) to get the unit through the holidays!!
- RTO : 7 days MAX for Aya Auto Offer
- PATIENT DIAGNOSES : Floating between several medical, surgical, and telemetry units. Assisting in caring for patients held in our ED who are inpatient.
- SPECIAL PROCEDURES / UNIT DETAILS : Contract staff may be required to care for patients with COVID. During times of increased census typical ratios may be higher.
Job Requirements
- Minimum Years of Experience : 1 year
- Traveler Experience : REQUIRED, Unit WILL NOT ACCEPT 1st Time Travelers
- Skills : 1 year Med / Surg
- MUST Pass EKG Testing prior to start for this specialty.*
Schedule Information
- Shift : 12hr NIGHTS

- Weekend Requirement : every other weekend

Additional Details
- Float Requirement : Yes, traveler will work with the CNRO(Centralized Resource Nursing Pool). Float Pool currently covers three separate campuses.
- Majority of shifts will be at the main campus but shift can also be scheduled and New Hanover Orthopedic Hospital and Pender Memorial Hospital.
- Staff are notified 2hrs before the start of the shift.
- Contract staff may be required to report to work during a catastrophic event, mass casualty or disaster.
- Consolidation to the Centralized Office mid contract may occur and the contract staff may be preassigned to units as needed.
