Job Description :
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team for the 2024-2025 school year in Reno, NV.
As an integral member of our school community, you will work collaboratively with teachers and parents to assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, and communication disorders.
This is a full-time position with a supportive district committed to providing excellent educational opportunities for all students.
Qualifications :
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Nevada state licensure or eligibility for licensure
- ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
Responsibilities :
- Conducting evaluations and assessments to determine students needs
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
- Providing direct therapy services and interventions
- Monitoring student progress and adjusting interventions as necessary
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals
