A celebrated James Beard darling is seeking a dynamic General Manager to be responsible for overseeing the day to day operations of restaurant service.

This role requires exceptional organizational and collaborative skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage wait staff.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating unforgettable experiences within the hospitality industry.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3+ years experience in a senior management position overseeing a full-service restaurant
  • A passion for excellence in hospitality
  • Bachelors Degree preferred
  • NYC Food Protection Certificate (Food Handlers) required
  • Proficiency in a variety of technology systems, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) andPOS
  • Ability to effectively communicate verbally and digitally
  • Ability to effectively solve and deal with a variety of changing situations under stress
  • Self-driven, results-oriented, and proactive attitude
  • A solid track record of leading high-caliber service
  • Flexible work schedules : the ability to work night, weekends, holidays, as business permits
  • The ability to lift, carry, push, or pull heavy objects, up to 50lbs
  • Kneel, bend, or stoop, ascend or descend stairs; be on feet for extended periods of time
