We are currently seeking a Reverse Unit Operator for our Hobbs, NM location.
Purpose
Participates in the planning, execution, and management of all phases of any Fishing, Thru-Tubing, Reverse Unit, Air Packages, Nitrogen Services, and / or Pressure Control operations to ensure delivery of services according to client requirements and expectations. Responsible for supervising technical services operations on well site.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Provides technical support to crew and clients at the well site; maintains communication with client well site representative, rig crew, and field support staff; communicates with internal and external clients
- Plans and coordinates operations utilizing technical expertise to determine the need, technique, and use of equipment on a well site
- Advises customer on proper procedures to perform operations and provide instruction; troubleshoots issues on well site to reduce non-productive time; supervises operations on well site
- Manages storage and inventories of supplies and fixed assets on the rig.
- Ensures work is performed in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations as well as company and industry standards
- Prepares and delivers comprehensive job documentation
- Trains, coaches, and mentors trainees
- Develops expertise on advanced techniques; participates in knowledge sharing
- Performs other duties as assigned
