We are seeking three dedicated Special Education Teachers to join our team for the 2024 / 2025 school year.
Position Details :
Roles : Special Education Teacher for Elementary School, Middle School, and High School
Type : Full-time positions (24-25 school year)
Class Settings : Self-contained and Resource Classes
Location : Onsite at our Plainfield, NJ schools
Pay Rate : $45 per hour, with weekly pay
Benefits : Comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, dental and vision coverage, and retirement benefits
Guaranteed Hours : Consistent hours throughout the school year
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field (Master's preferred)
- New Jersey State Certification in Special Education
- Experience working with students with diverse learning needs
Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students
- Provide instruction tailored to meet the unique needs of students in self-contained and resource settings
- Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Assess student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and services provided
Preferred Skills and Experience :
- Experience with behavior management techniques and strategies
- Knowledge of effective instructional practices for students with disabilities
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
