Founded in 1994, Pomona Capital is an international private equity firm managing over $15 billion in commitments in secondaries funds, primary funds of funds, and co-investments.

Pomona's investors include more than 350 pension funds, endowments, foundations, financial institutions, family office and high net worth investors from over twenty-five countries.

Pomona's team of approximately fifty personnel is headquartered in New York City, with additional offices in London and Hong Kong.

Pomona is seeking an Accounting Staff Member to work in a new role alongside Pomona's present Team of Accounting Managers and Senior Managers.

Please Note : This position has been designated as a hybrid-office / home role. Details of your in-office schedule will be finalized with your manager.

The Contributions You Will Make

  • Assist in day-to-day financial accounting and administration for private equity secondary fund-of-funds.
  • Work directly with third party administrator on day-to-day operations
  • Assist in preparation / review of quarterly financial statement data.
  • Prepare / review journal entries and cash reconciliations.
  • Assist with audit preparation activities.
  • Assist with tax estimates and return filing processes.
  • Provide reports and support to controller and general partners.
  • Conduct data reconciliations among accounting systems
  • Assess, organize, and maintain accounting records.
  • Provide general support to the Accounting Team as requested.

Minimum Knowledge and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business, or equivalent experience in a directly related field.
  • 2-3 years of accounting or middle-office support in an asset management environment.
  • Understanding of accounting processes in an asset management environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and an ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Must be proactive and possess an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.

Compensation Pay Disclosure :

Voya is committed to pay that's fair and equitable, which means comparable pay for comparable roles and responsibilities.

The below annual base salary range reflects the expected hiring range(s) for this position in the location(s) listed. In addition to base salary, Voya offers incentive opportunities (i.

e., annual cash incentives, sales incentives, and / or long-term incentives) based on the role to reward the achievement of annual performance objectives.

Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Voya Financial is willing to pay at the time of this posting.

Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted salary range based upon the candidate's geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and / or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.

Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

$90,000 to $100,000 USD
