We are looking for a talented and product-minded software engineer that can deliver high performant, scalable and cost effective web applications in a fast paced environment.
You'll work closely day-to-day with other engineers, users, and business leaders to plan, design, build, and ship high quality software.
Key Qualifications
- At least 7 years of software engineering experience in building web applications
- Deep knowledge of NodeJS, Typescript and ReactJS
- Experience with relational database systems like PostgreSQL or MySQL and designing database schema
- Experience with deploying containerized services and related infrastructures to cloud computing platforms like AWS or Google Cloud
- Practical understanding of software engineering lifecycle, version control systems, CI / CD practices, test automation and system migration
- Ability to learn and adapt to new tools and technologies
- Ability to learn and work in a cross-functional fast-paced environment
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Experience with adopting observability tools such as Prometheus
- Experience with performance testing
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code technologies such as Terraform, Ansible, etc.
Your responsibilities will include :
- Participating in the overall web application architecture
- Designing and implementing software solutions and architecting inter-service communication and data flows
- Building reusable and customizable libraries / frameworks / tools
- Researching and developing new technologies and developing proofs of concept
- Writing high quality code and reviewing the work of your peers using software engineering standard methodologies (CI / CD, unit testing, testing, etc.)
