Description & Requirements Maximus is looking for a Network Engineer.

As a Network Engineer, you will be at the epicenter of our IT infrastructure, ensuring seamless communication across all devices and platforms, and safeguarding the flow of data that supports our critical business operations.

This role requires a blend of advanced technical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and innovative problem-solving abilities.

You will work closely with diverse teams to deploy cutting-edge technologies, troubleshoot intricate network issues, and continuously evaluate and refine our network performance.

Candidates should be well-versed in network protocols, hardware, and software, and possess a profound understanding of both traditional and modern networking systems.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities : - Manage development of complex automation solutions to work with existing and new network technologies such as switches, routers, and firewalls.

  • Development, configuration, implementation, and testing of multiple network platforms to streamline network operations.
  • Work with multiple Engineering teams to incorporate infrastructure provisioning into deployment pipelines. - Automate network processes and improve overall code base.

Create, develop, and own pipelines for automation.

Build and run responsibilities working in an operational setup. - Innovate by looking for different and better ways of doing things and actively bring them up with improvement proposals (e.g.

network programmability and automation). - Support the existing engineering and operation teams in their daily work and take over the responsibility in automation design and transition, to deliver a constantly improving, cost efficient and highly available services.

  • Document issues and incidents for later use in a KB. - Manage and maintain the infrastructure tool sets, including standard alerting, monitoring, and management tools.
  • Help guide the team to achieve simplified processes for complex network deployments. Minimum Requirements - Bachelor's degree in related field.
  • 3-5 years of relevant professional experience required. - Equivalent combination of education and experience considered in lieu of degree.

Preferred Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in Engineering. Experience with routers, switches, firewalls, session border controllers and connectivity correlation from end-to-end.

Working knowledge of Cisco, Palo Alto FW, SD-WAN, NGFW, Aruba Wireless, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word).

Pay Transparency Maximus compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to job location, a candidate's education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including seniority and merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment.

Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package.

Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards.

Additionally, Maximus provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off.

Compensation ranges may differ based on contract value but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.

An applicant's salary history will not be used in determining compensation.

Maximus will comply with regulatory minimum wage rates and exempt salary thresholds in all instances. Minimum Salary $ 78,400.
