A bit about us :

We are an open source platform that supports programmable money and digital identity solutions for financial institutions.

Our high-speed interbank platform enables the transactions and settlements of programmable money between central banks, commercial banks and consumers.

The underlying database can then be used to provide secure analytics to wholesale stakeholders and support digital identity and banking aggregator solutions for consumers.

We are a vertically-integrated, open source software platform that focuses on balancing privacy, scalability and interoperability (with existing and future platforms) across our stakeholder pipeline.

As a Frontend Developer, you’ll help solve unique, large scale, highly complex technical problems and will build delightful user experiences and scalable frontend systems for our digital identity offering.

You'll also work with our security and risk engineering teams to build trust and safety features to protect user accounts, without compromising on the user experience.

Job Details

Key Responsibilities, Prioritized :

• Articulate a long term technical direction and vision for maintaining and scaling our interbank platform.
• Create trustworthy user experiences by building interfaces that are simple, easy to comprehend, performant and reliable using modern tools like TypeScript, JavaScript, WebAssembly.
• Create trustworthy mobile and web optimized user experiences by building interfaces that are simple, easy to comprehend, performant and reliable using modern tools / frameworks
• Conduct software analysis, programming, testing, and debugging, as well as recommendation of changes to design / open source frameworks as required for industry best practices, promoting consistency and reusability
• Turn our vision into a tangible roadmap every quarter by working with engineers, product managers and senior leadership.
• Mentor and train other team members on design techniques and coding standards.
• Add positive energy in every meeting, and make your coworkers feel included in every interaction.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :

• Extended Web3 and Web2 Knowledge : Candidates must have the technical and strategic acumen to understand : Custodial Wallet Solutions, On / off chain data storage and retrieval mechanisms, Distributed systems, & Enterprise and consumer payment solutions.
• Widespread development knowledge : Experience with React, Redux, and other various frontend technologies is a plus. Version control experience with Git / GitHub and branching methodologies, code review tools, CI tools, JIRA, Confluence, etc.

Great with unit and functional testing and debugging.

Preferred Crypto and FinTech Awareness : Understanding and experience working in the financial industry, Familiarity with any of the following : payments, digital wallets, clearing and settlement, privacy, security etc.

Understanding and strong interest in cryptocurrencies and the blockchain industry.

Comfort in ambiguous unstructured environments : Building something new comes with significant ambiguity, and we want people that can thrive in that ambiguity.

Requirements :

• Received a bachelor's degree in CS, EE, or a related technical field, and proven excellence in previous roles
• 3+ years of relevant experience
• Priority to those who have familiarity with TypeScript, JavaScript, Dart, WebAssembly
• Experience with Web or Mobile Frameworks such as Svelte, Flutter, and React
• Experience with test-driven development and the use of testing frameworks
• Knowledge of systems design concepts
• Strong communication skills, specifically giving / receiving constructive feedback in a collaborative setting
• Attention to detail
• Deep understanding of technology
• Proven record of shipping features on time and on budget
• Flexible and focused on solutions
• Organized and self-sufficient
