Florence Quantum Labs is a cutting-edge weather and climate tech company that leverages Quantum Machine Learning (QML) and advanced Quantum Computing to address weather and climate challenges.
Our innovative quantum-enhanced numerical weather prediction (QENWP) systems revolutionize weather forecasting using algorithms like variational quantum eigensolvers (VQE) and quantum approximate optimization algorithms (QAOA).
We integrate quantum sensors, entangled photons, and quantum coherence to provide real-time environmental data and advanced climate models.
Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Chief Financial Officer at Florence Quantum Labs. The CFO will be responsible for, but not limited to, financial planning, preparing financial statements, analyzing financial data, financial reporting, and financial automation.
The CFO will play a key role in strategic financial decision-making and ensuring financial stability and growth.
Minimum Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience with Financial Planning and Financial Statements skills
- 8+ years of experience with Finance and Analytical Skills
- 8+ years of experience with Financial Reporting expertise
- 5+ years of experience with Climate-Related Financial Risk Act (SB261)
- 5+ years of experience with financial analysis and forecasting
- Strong financial acumen and strategic financial management
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA, MFA, or CPA preferred
Compensation
FQL is entering its pre-seed stage. Compensation is contingent on funding and includes, but is not limited to the following.
- Base salary + maximum 25% cash bonus
