Full Time Pre-OP / PACU Position in Gallup, NM
Connected Health Care is currently seeking a dedicated Pre-Operative / PACU nurse for a full-time position in Gallup, NM.
This opportunity is with a leading healthcare facility committed to providing exceptional patient care.
Job Description :
- Provide expert nursing care to patients in the Pre-Operative and Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) settings.
- Assess patient conditions before surgical procedures and monitor their recovery post-surgery.
- Collaborate closely with surgical teams and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Administer medications and assist with patient education and discharge planning.
- Maintain a sterile and safe environment for patients and staff.
Education and Certification Requirements :
- Active RN license in New Mexico.
- BLS and ACLS certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Pre-OP and PACU settings.
- BSN preferred.
