Skilled Trades Services is looking for skilled Woodworkers, Carpenters, and Cabinet Makers to join our well-established exhibit house, renowned for fabricating high-quality custom auto show displays, trade show exhibits, and museum properties.
Responsibilities :
- Fabricate cabinets from scratch, not just assemble pre-made parts.
- Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials accurately.
- Read and interpret tape measures and blueprints effectively.
- Layout, cut, and assemble wood components with precision.
- Operate a variety of woodworking machines, along with hand and power tools.
- Build, repair, and install items such as cabinets, countertops, shelving, moldings, and partition walls.
- Install hardware, including hinges, handles, catches, drawers, pulls, and slides.
Qualifications :
- Must be proactive and ready to work diligently.
- Extensive experience with finished work, including laminates, melamine, and moldings.
- Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions.
- Strong team player with good communication skills.
- Willingness and ability to work overtime as required.
