Wood is currently recruiting for a Project Manager in Longmont, CO to manage and support assigned project and portfolio to Facilities Construction Group by providing robust control of project scope, schedule, cost and risk.

Full time employment, Monday Friday, 40 hours per week.

Multiple positions available.

Employing entity : Wood Group USA, Inc.

Telecommuting permitted up to 4 days a week.

Domestic travel required up to 25%.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management or a related field, and 7 years of related work experience in facilities construction.
  • In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree, the employer will accept an additional 2 years of related work experience in facilities construction.

Of the required experience, must have 5 years of experience in each of the following :

  • Working in an Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) environment;
  • Leading or Managing construction projects in the oil and gas or energy sectors.
  • Utilizing project management techniques and practices, including cost, schedule and quality control; change management;
  • risk management; and advanced planning;
  • Developing stakeholder management plans;
  • Utilizing qualitative assessment methods;
  • Utilizing quantitative assessment techniques;
  • Using common estimating techniques to derive estimates and costs on standard projects;
  • Delivering effective project initiation on multi-phase projects and produce project execution plans;
  • Working with International quality assurance standards;
  • Project monitoring and forecasting;
  • Managing change control process on project with several sub-contractors and interfaces;
  • Managing information management project teams;
  • All handover and close-out activities required for customers, companies and suppliers; and
  • Cash Flow management as well as projection / forecast of cost at completion.
