Project Engineer

Our client manufactures and markets many branded consumer products. Their history dates back to the mid 1800’s.

In this role you will develop and execute manufacturing plant capital projects including scope, schedule, budget, procurement, installation and performance.

This role will provide technical solutions across the site, working w / a cross functional team.

• Lead Engineer on capital projects - overall project management, budget, schedule management, construction management, start-up, conceptual phases, project close-out, scope development, cost estimation, system design, equipment sizing and selection, procurement, installation, check-out
• Maintain engineering interface with business unit team - maintain close working relationship with quality, manufacturing, operations leadership, and financial operations
• Offer production support and troubleshooting assistance to Engineers, Team Leaders, and Maintenance
• Provide support to annual capital planning process, which may include development and management of the capital program for an operating department
• Provide support updating and managing CAD drawings
• Team Leadership - involving operators and mechanics in the project process
• Collaborate w / plant technicians, leadership staff, outside vendors and managing contractors and engineering firms

Salary : $DOE / hr (long term contract)

Schedule : 40hrs, M-F, onsite, flexible schedule, OT and Weekends as needed

Qualifications

• Associate / Bachelor’s degree Engineering Required!
• Previous experience w / Project Management and emphasis on Productivity
• Previous experience in a technical leadership and team management role
• Knowledge and understanding of processing systems and a working knowledge of plant manufacturing, engineering, quality, and research functions.
• Must be authorized to work in the US for any employer
• The position is subject to passing a background check ad drug screen
