The Registered Nurse in the General Medical / Surgical unit is responsible for administering medications, implementing physician orders, and performing treatments and procedures as required.
This role involves assessing patient needs, collaborating with the nursing team to create a Plan of Care, and providing primary and emergency care for occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses.
The ideal candidate will contribute to creating a compassionate environment for patients, families, and colleagues through active listening and kindness.
This role requires adherence to company policy and local / state / federal rules and regulations, as well as maintaining standards of professional nursing.
