Job Overview - SLP :
A part-time Speech-Language Pathologist position is available in Brooklyn, NY. The clinic caters to adult patients with developmental delays, autism, and cerebral palsy.
We offer a flexible schedule with the option to work Saturdays.
Location : Brooklyn, NY
Compensation : Up to $60 / hr
Schedules available : (candidate can choose a combination of days to complete 13 individual sessions)
Monday, Wednesday, Friday : 8 : 30 AM - 6 : 00 PM
Tuesday & Thursday : 8 : 30 AM - 7 : 00 PM
Saturdays (optional) : 9 : 00 AM - 3 : 00 PM
Responsibilities as the Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) :
- Provide individual and group speech therapy using traditional and / or augmentative communication techniques.
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments.
- Develop and formulate diagnostic reports with clinical recommendations.
- Create and maintain Individualized Clinic Plans (ICPs).
- Act as a liaison and continually assess for unmet needs of individuals.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team efforts to support the individuals' programming.
Qualifications of the Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) :
- Licensed SLP
- Experience with developmental delays, autism, and cerebral palsy preferred.
