Job Summary :

We are seeking a Systems Engineer who will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining IT infrastructure, focusing on HPE GreenLake, VLM, and Veeam solutions.

This role requires a deep understanding of hybrid cloud platforms, automated storage systems, and data protection technologies.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in systems engineering, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Work Arrangement :

This is a remote position with the flexibility to work from anywhere. However, occasional on-site presence may be required to support specific projects, system installations, or maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design and Implementation :
• Design, deploy, and manage HPE GreenLake hybrid cloud solutions to optimize IT infrastructure.
• Integrate and maintain Vertical Lift Modules (VLM) for automated storage and retrieval systems.
• Implement Veeam backup and disaster recovery solutions to ensure data protection and business continuity.
• System Management :
• Monitor and manage all installed systems and infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and availability.
• Perform regular system updates, patches, and configuration changes to maintain security and efficiency.
• Develop and maintain custom scripts to automate routine tasks and improve system efficiency.
• Collaboration and Support :
• Work closely with IT, operations, and other departments to understand and address their system needs.
• Provide 2nd and 3rd-level support for system-related issues, ensuring timely resolution.
• Liaise with vendors and service providers to resolve technical problems and optimize system performance.
• Documentation and Reporting :
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures.
• Generate regular reports on system performance, availability, and security status.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in systems engineering, with a focus on hybrid cloud platforms, automated storage systems, and data protection technologies.
• Strong knowledge of HPE GreenLake, VLM, and Veeam solutions.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) for automation.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills :

• Experience with other cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
• Familiarity with network infrastructure and cybersecurity best practices.
• Certification in relevant technologies (e.g., HPE, Veeam).
