We are seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join a leading electrical contracting firm based in Downers Grove, IL. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a well-established organization known for delivering high-quality electrical solutions across a wide range of commercial and industrial projects.

Responsibilities :

  • Prepare accurate cost estimates for electrical construction projects, including labor, materials, and subcontractor services.
  • Review project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to develop a complete scope of work.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to clarify requirements and ensure accurate bids.
  • Evaluate vendor and subcontractor proposals for cost effectiveness and compliance with project requirements.
  • Maintain knowledge of current market pricing, industry trends, and new technologies to support competitive bids.
  • Assist in project handoffs by communicating detailed estimates and scopes to the operations team.

Qualifications :

  • 3+ years of experience as an Electrical Estimator in the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, materials, codes, and installation practices.
  • Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
