The Opportunity
Educators for Excellence’s Development Team is seeking a Vice President of Philanthropy to oversee the execution of E4E’s fundraising strategy across its national and regional donor portfolios while managing and leading the Development team's day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities :
Oversee Fundraising - National & Regional Portfolios :
- Contribute to the vision-setting, design, drafting, implementation, and communication of strategy for E4E’s national & regional donor portfolio stewardship and growth.
- Participate directly in frontline fundraising activities and external engagement activities.
- Ensure high-quality materials are prepared, presented, and messaged to all funders and prospective donors.
- Keep abreast of local content, context, and philanthropic and programmatic trends to support E4E’s development strategy and messaging.
Team Management and Development :
- Manage at least 5 staff members related to the national and regional donor portfolios.
- Lead and support Development team meeting agendas with CGO.
- Build strong relationships across the organization to support the execution of portfolio fundraising activities.
Qualifications & Requirements :
Experience :
- At least 10 years of nonprofit strategy, fundraising, and operations experience.
- Successful track record of revenue generation across institutional and individual giving.
- Experience managing direct reports and working across teams.
Technical Skills :
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
- Comfort with SalesForce and operations workflow required.

Compensation Policy :
The salary band for this role is $125,000 - $200,000 based on experience and geographic location.
