Responsibilities

include performing analyses related to portfolio positioning, performance and risk, market trends,petitive positioning, and pricing Additional responsibilities may include creation and maintenance of marketing and client materials, review of RFPs, responses to client questions, automation of workflow, and collaboration on the development of client solutions and new investment approaches.

QUALIFICATIONS

Success in the role requires a demonstrated interest in investment topics and passion for learning, as well as strong analytical skills.

A positive, collegial attitude and high level of professionalism are essential, as are creativity, initiative and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with tight deadlines.

Further qualifications include :

  • At least 6 years of relevant industry experience and a record of achievement. Experience at a hedge fund, alternative asset manager, sell-side firm or management consultancy desirable but not required
  • An MBA and / or CFA is desirable but not required
  • Strong critical thinking skills,fort with ambiguity, and a willingness to take initiative
  • Advanced analytical skill including the ability to frame issues, identify important points, and draw conclusions
  • Attention to detailbined with a solutions-oriented, strategic mindset
  • Solid judgment, intellectual curiosity, and willingness to take a differentiated perspective
  • Ability to write clearly and succinctly in a variety ofmunication settings
  • Articulate with an interest in developing presentation skills
  • Ability to work both independently and in collaboration with a global team
  • Strong technical skills; mastery of MS Excel and familiarity with Bloomberg and Factset are a plus but not essential
  • Ability to organize, manage, and prioritize time well
  • Grace under pressure with an ability to adapt and get things done
  • A global perspective and / or language skills are viewed favorably.
  • Willingness to travel

The base salary range for this position is :

USD 80,000 - 180,000

This range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered when makingpensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets;

role; skills and experience; certifications; and education. This range is an estimate, and further details on salary and totalpensation aspects will be shared with candidates during the recruitment process.

Base salary is only oneponent of Wellington's totalpensation approach. Other rewards may include a discretionary Corporate Bonus and / or Incentives, if eligible.
