About this position
Provides advanced life support care to the sick and injured and safely transports customers of all ages to a medical facility.
In addition, the paramedic assists with other services and events as directed by North Memorial Ambulance Service.

Successfully completed paramedic training program from an accredited institution required.
Experience

Previous ALS ambulance experience preferred
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Demonstrated ability to organize, problem solve, make decisions during emergency situations and work independently.
- Possess or quickly acquire knowledge of the street and highway system within the service area.
Licensure / Certification
- Wisconsin Paramedic Certification or be able to obtain within 60 days of hire date.
- American Heart Association ACLS and BLS Certification or American Red Cross ALS and BLS Certification upon hire or within 14 days.
- Valid State Class D driver's license in the state of residency with an acceptable driving record.
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross PALS Certification.
- ICS-100, ICS-200 and ICS-700 or be able to obtain within 60 days of hire date.
