ASPHALT LABORER - MERIDIAN

The asphalt laborer is an key member of the paving team as we work to build better communities.
Here are some of the things you will do :
- Rake and shovel asphalt.
- Help equipment operators facilitate alignment, movement and adjustment of the machines, equipment and materials.
- Clean and prepare construction sites to eliminate possible hazards.
- Dump windrows from belly and double belly trucks
- Measure, mark, and record openings and distances to lay out areas where construction work will be performed

Additionally we are looking for :
- Understanding asphalt paving procedures
- Ability to learn
- Great work ethic
- Ability to stand for long periods, work in the heat, bend, lift and other physical activities
- Someone who likes working outdoors
