Clinical Nurse II - Critical Care Float Pool
Join our dynamic team in the Critical Care Float Pool today! This role offers an opportunity to gain and practice critical care skills in various areas, including Neuro-Surgical Trauma ICU, Medical ICU, Coronary Care Unit, Cardiovascular ICU, and the progressive critical care unit.
As a member of the Critical Care Float pool, you will also have the chance to gain additional competencies in Emergency Department care and neuro-progressive care areas.
This position involves implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments and procedures, and documenting treatment as required.
Other responsibilities include assessing and evaluating patient needs, collaborating with the nursing team to create a Plan of Care for all patients, and maintaining standards of professional nursing.
Requirements :
- Graduate of a professional academic nursing program
- Current NYS Registered Nurse license
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- 1-3 years of previous clinical RN experience in Progressive Care or ICU
- Excellent communication, prioritization, organizational, and time-management skills
