McFarland Clinic is currently accepting applications for a CMA for its Ames office. Candidates should be service-oriented, a team player, and be able to provide extraordinary care, every day to our patients.
Responsible for assisting in the delivery of health care and patient care management in accordance with McFarland Clinic’s Employee-Level Vision Related Behaviors.
Duties include : rooming patients, assisting providers in exam rooms, assisting providers with in-office procedures, phone calls, stocking rooms.
Assisting at front desk as needed. Prior authorizations as needed. Go to Outreach as needed. Position comes with competitive clinic pay and valuable benefits package
Education
Graduate from accredited program for Medical Assistants
Certification / License
- Certification or registration from an approved certifying organization for Medical Assistants (AAMA, ARMA, AMT, NAHP, NCCT & NHA)
- Current Basic Life Support certification for Health Care Providers.
Days : Monday - Friday
Hours : 8 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM
Experience
- Previous clinic experience preferred.
- Strong typing skills preferred.
- Medical Terminology is required within 1 year of employment.
