Raytheon is an industry leader in Stealth Technology. Weare involved in all phases of development, production, andmaintenance of Low Observable (LO) weapon systems.

We are currentlylooking for Stealth / Low Observable / Radar Cross Section (RCS) / Signature Management / Survivability Engineers to work onchallenging, state of the art technical projects.

We are seeking early to mid-career Engineers tojoin the Signature Management & Technology Team. This will beonsite at our Tucson location.

At Raytheon, you will be part of ateam whose responsibilities span the full lifecycle of the product-from initial conceptual design to modeling and analysis, fromcomponent to missile level RCS testing, and production support tomaintainability.

What You WillDo

• Stealth (design,analysis, computational electro-magnetics (CEM), and / or test)
• Proposal Writing and Basis of Estimate (BOE)development.
• Mentor early career engineers.
• You're expected to perform RCS predictions andshould be familiar with limitations of ComputationalElectromagnetic Codes (CEM).
• Deliverableswill include test documentation, data analysis, anomaly resolution,results documentation, and presentation of results to both internaland external customers.
• You will work inintegrated product teams to incorporate advanced signature controltechniques into deliverable products and aid in the assessment ofsystem performance.

Note that occasional non-standard work shiftsmay be expected during testing.

• The selectedindividual will document all activities pertaining to testpreparation, data analysis, design trades, prediction results, andothers.
• You will work within integratedproduct teams and support all aspects of that team's designefforts.
• Present results of testing, analysis,and design efforts to internal and external customers
• Occasional travel for business, training, andconferences
• Provide effective personalinteraction and collaboration with a multi-disciplined team andcustomers.
• Integrated Product Team (IPT)leadership
• Will provide project managementincluding the ability to identify links and potential impact onprojects, programs, or systems.

Qualifications You Must Have :

• Bachelor's in Science, Technology,Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
• Ten (10)years of engineering experience, which must include Low Observable(LO) technology or Radar Cross Section or ComputationalElectromagnetic Codes (CEM) or 7 years relevant experience with anadvance degree.
• The ability to obtain andmaintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.

S. citizens are eligiblefor a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer :

• Multiple tests of LO targets onground plane ranges and compact ranges
• Infrared (IR) signature analysis and reductionexperience including IR CEM tools
• Advancedegree in physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technicalfield.
• Programming expertise in C++, MATLAB,or other technical language
• Experience withInfrared signature analysis and control
• Academic or applied experience utilizing RFtesting techniques, terminology, and test equipment
• Understanding of electromagnetic fundamentals
• Experience with Infrared signature analysisand control
• Experience in the field ofinfrared signature technology is desirable (redundant to above?)
• Programming expertise in C++, MATLAB, or othertechnical language is desirable
• Advanced radarsystem development or test experience
• Presentation skills and ability to communicatewith peers, executives and customers
• Workingknowledge of computational electromagnetic codes to include fullwave codes, as well as asymptotic techniques using industrystandard tools such as XPATCH CARLOS, SENTRi, or (note deletedcodes are not CEM, add them to a new line with different skill set

Thesalary range for this role is 118,000 USD - 246,000 USD. The salaryrange provided is a good faith estimate representative of allexperience levels.
