Slakey Brothers has an immediate need for a Regional Sales Manager for HVAC Supplies and Plumbing to lead our Sales Team and growth of Customer relationships in our California Coast Region!
Territory - Hayward, Salinas, San Jose, Sand City, Santa Cruz, Santa Rosa, and South San Francisco
Starting salary range - $125,000-$165,000 based on experience
Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop and communicate clear strategies, programs, goals and expectations for Slakey's supplies and plumbing sales efforts.
- Perform a full range of management responsibilities including effectively delegating work to members of Regional Sales Team.
- Coach and mentor the Team Members to achieve regional sales and GP goals.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with Slakey Brothers’ customers, advocate for the customers and promptly report all customer service challenges or issues.
- Drive interaction between Region Operations Manager, Regional Sales Managers, Pricing, Logistics, Credit and Marketing to promptly serve Slakey Brothers’ customers and maximize sales.
Education / Experience / Skills
- Excellent knowledge of the products Slakey Brothers sells
- Comprehends Slakey Brothers’ Inside Sales, Outside Sales, Warehouse and Delivery Functions
- 5+ years related management experience preferred
- Prior outside sales experience preferred
- Strong decision-making abilities - understands impact and implications of decisions
- Strong negotiation skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong presentation skills
- College degree preferred, but not required
