Position Overview

We are looking for a dynamic Senior Financial Analyst to join our team. The Senior Financial Analyst will be a hands-on role that will play an integral role with both finance as well as client teams.

The focus of this role is preparing and analyzing financial data from the US market including preparing financial presentations.

Responsibilities

  • Support the preparation and analysis of the annual budget and monthly / quarterly flash submissions
  • Maintain and improve forecast models
  • Monthly and quarterly financial reporting including variance analysis
  • Coordinate intercompany recharges including pass through, salary related and other opex
  • Assist in the preparation of forecast presentations
  • Coordinate with the US Finance team to ensure adherence with the reporting framework, timely collection of data and other reporting requirements
  • Provide ad-hoc and special project support as needed

Required Skills and Experience

  • Experience with budgeting and forecasting annual, quarterly and monthly results
  • Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, V-Lookups, etc.
  • Solid financial analysis skills and comfort with numbers
  • Must have the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines; possession of strong organizational and time-management skills, and the ability to understand and establish appropriate priorities
  • IPG Mediabrands does not require candidates to have college degrees

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Demonstrates the ability to be a team player
  • At least two years of financial planning and analysis and / or budget experience
  • Ability to learn and utilize several online platforms including SAP / Hyperion
  • Ability to handle classified information in a professional and discreet manner
  • Proven experience presenting information orally and in writing
  • Experience in a fast paced, client service environment; a high sense of urgency, a positive attitude and willingness to learn

The salary range for this position is posted below.
