Job Purpose
Dana Incorporated is seeking to fill a 2025 Spring Cybersecurity Engineering Intern position at their Novi Tech Center located in Novi, MI.
This is a great opportunity to develop your technical skills by working alongside Dana's engineers in the completion of departmental oriented tasks / assignments.
The Product Cybersecurity group is responsible for the development of Dana's embedded systems cybersecurity processes and platform solution to present in our control system solutions.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Review customer requirements and identify any gaps to existing products / security mechanisms
- Perform Threat Analysis & Risk Assessment for project teams
- Support cybersecurity solution design and development
- Perform software & module level testing of cybersecurity mechanisms
- Support review and evaluation of cybersecurity technologies and tools from vendors
Requirements
- Enrollment and active pursuit of a Bachelor or Mater of Science in Engineering or Engineering specific majors : Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Cybersecurity relevant experience (e.g., cybersecurity coursework, cybersecurity project, cybersecurity working experience) in any of the following areas preferred : SW security, HW security, systems security, security architecture, network security, communication security, cryptography, etc.
- Self-directed & motivated individual with great organizational skills
- Full time availability
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Must be able to interface in a team environment
