Civil Science is looking to fill an immediate opening for an EIT- Transportation in any of our Utah offices (Salt Lake City, Lehi, St.

George). In this role, the EIT will assist Engineers by performing the routine aspects of civil engineering assignments, subsequently providing familiarity with the programs, staff, and operating procedures of the company.

The EIT will work on a variety of projects pertaining to transportation and municipal. This role encompasses design work, potential construction engineering, and on-site inspections, offering a unique opportunity for those who enjoy seeing their designs come to life.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering is required
• Working knowledge of related aspects of civil engineering projects including roadway design, land surveying, construction inspection and CADD
• Recent experience in highway / DOT projects is a plus
• Proven ability to think critically and ensure a successful project outcome
• Preference given to candidates who can demonstrate they have passed the F.E. and have 2+ years related design experience
• Experience with design software such as : MicroStation, OpenRoads, AutoCAD Civil3D is a plus
• Must be able to pass both a background check and driving record review.
