About The Position
Job Title : X-Ray Technician Job Specialty : Radiology / Cardiology - X-Ray Tech Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Variable 4x10-hour shifts, Day (09 : 00 - 19 : 00) and Night (20 : 00 - 06 : 00) Guaranteed Hours : Facility may call off once per two-week pay period Experience : Minimum of 2 years required License : California License required;
no temporary licenses accepted Certifications : ARRT, BLS Must-Have : Open to working all shifts outlined; able to self-schedule based on seniority Job Description : Clinicians must be open to working all shifts as outlined.
- Self-scheduling goes in order of seniority.- Must submit interview availability with submission profile.- Works with a daily caseload of 30-35 scans per shift.
- Required to float as needed to meet unit needs.- Weekend coverage required every other weekend; may exceed to meet facility needs.
- Must work 3 of the 5 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day) as per management's discretion.
- RTO (Request for Time Off) must be included at the time of submission.- Requires a minimum of 2 supervisory references covering at least 1 year of employment within the last three years.
- All travelers are expected to float between all facilities within a given state.- Communication devices needed for duties will be provided at no cost;
- if not provided, phone expenses will be reimbursed.- Modules are non-billable, with an average of 16 hours spent on completion;
over 20 hours requires approval.- 40 hours of orientation are non-billable.
