A Material Handler - 2nd Shift job in San Jose, CA is available through Belcan. In this role you will be responsible for receiving materials and supplies by verifying PO information on ERP - PO number and quantity.
You will also need to document materials receipts and put away to the appropriate storage location. To be considered, you must have at least a High School Diploma along with at least three years of relevant warehouse experience.
Material Handler - 2nd Shift Job Responsibilities :
- Receives materials and supplies by verifying PO information on ERP - PO number, QTY, etc. (Should be familiar with ERP - SAP a plus)
- Documents materials receipts and put away to the appropriate storage location.
- Locate material(s) by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders.
- Deliver production materials and supplies where needed, and staging finished product final
distribution.
- Locate and pack materials for shipping.
- Prepare finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading, and securing product.
- Documents product shipment by recording units shipped.
- Maintain inventory by identifying, labeling, and keeping materials and supplies in stock, recording location of inventory, and reporting shortages.
- Operates forklifts (certified a plus), pallet jacks, and other machinery to move items, or signals
machine operators to move materials onto and off trucks, ships, and loading docks.
- Maintains material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections and making operator repairs.
- Maintain warehouse operation area clean and orderly.
- Learn and adhere to workplace safety regulations.
Material Handler - 2nd Shift Job Qualifications :
- High School Diploma
- 3 years of related warehouse experience (shipping and receiving, kitting, packing)
- Experience with driving a company box truck for deliveries.
- Effective organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and highly regulated with adaptability to changing priorities.
- Strong team player
- Must be able to lift 25 lbs unassisted
- Ability to operate a forklift
- Must be able to work 2nd shift, Monday - Friday 2 : 00 PM - 10 : 30 PM PST.
- Must be able to train on 1st shift, Monday - Friday 9 : 00 AM - 4 : 30 PM PST.
