Sr. Manager, Risk, Workers Compensation Domestic Claims

DescriptionAmazon’s Global Risk Management Claims team is seeking a talented Worker's Compensation (WC) Manager to support our growing worker's compensation program.

• Oversee non-litigated and litigated claims.
• Develop strategy and action plans for claims in tandem with external counsel, TPA's, and insurance companies.
• Field and address business partners on-going questions and issues through claims resolution as needed.
• Partner with other internal partners to innovate processes and strategies to create efficiencies.A day in the lifeYou will report to a Senior Risk Manager and be enthusiastic about driving change.

You will lead strategy on WC claims, handling litigated and non-litigated claims in conjunction with Third Party Administrators (TPA's), outside counsel, and insurance companies.

You will help develop programs and tools that contain costs. You will partner with external vendors on innovative claims handling initiatives that support simplicity while enhancing the customer experience.

You will serve as the subject matter expert to dive deep on claim processes, challenge the status quo, and develop impactful solutions.

You will support internal audits to ensure quality and compliance are in accordance with client service instructions and performance expectations.

The base pay for this position ranges from $142,700 / year in our lowest geographic market up to $236,000 / year in our highest geographic market.

Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
