About The Position
Job Title : Registered NurseJob Specialty : Critical Care FloatJob Duration : 15 weeksShift : Day 3x12-Hour (07 : 00 - 19 : 30)Guaranteed Hours : Not specifiedExperience : Minimum 3 years;
large hospital experience required. Ideal candidates will have exposure to transplant centers.License : Valid permanent California license required.
Certifications : ACLS, BLS, NIH required; CCRN preferred.Must-Have : - Ventilator management- IV start- Intracranial pressure monitoring- Telemetry- Conscious sedationJob Description : - This position is in an ICU Float Pool, with potential to float to medical-surgical, telemetry, progressive care units, overflow units, and PACU.
- RNs are placed in high-acuity ICU units, such as Neuro, Respiratory failure, Cardiac care, and Transplant units.- Candidates with first-time travel experience are welcome, provided they meet the experience requirements.
- Experience with Level I Trauma, Charge experience, and PA Lines is preferred.- Candidate must be willing to float within the hospital and have flexible scheduling.
- Epic charting experience is highly preferred.- COVID-19 and flu vaccinations are mandatory with no exemptions.- Includes non-negotiable orientation scheduling, and no RTO allowed within the first two weeks of the start date.
- Holiday time off is subject to managerial discretion.- Only candidates with a clean background and license will be considered;
any discrepancies must be explained in detail and are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
